TRAINING SEMINAR

The teaching seminar is customized for your crew, takes place in your building, and uses your existing gear ensuring the audio crew gains valuable information specifically applied to your system! A more exclusive track than our workshop, the seminar is specifically designed around your needs and goals.

We will evaluate the gear, ensure it’s optimized and configured the simplest and easiest way to understand. Then we survey your crew, music director and/ or pastoral staff to discover the current level of operation, expectations, and motivation of those running sound at your church. Together with you, we will create tangible goals for the training seminar and the audio crew.

A customized course will be developed for your volunteers and will address issues specific to your church. The useful workbook and teaching tools will also be valuable reference guides long after the seminar is over. The lessons are for small groups, very interactive, hands on, and best of all, use the gear already at your location!  Sample topics include…

• System set up
• Room acoustics
• Microphone selection
• Eliminating feedback
• Creating a musical mix
• Recording for the Internet
• And much more!

Here is a list of What You Get when you book a training seminar for your crew.

Phil, the teaching instructor, will run sound for your service on the last day while your crew is able to shadow. Following will be a final wrap up session allowing for further discussion and addressing any lingering issues that arise.
